Hey church…Tammie Coates is a part of Community Church. She is undergoing quite a battle with cancer. Tammie is a hair salon owner in Oshkosh whose income is dependent on her ability to work. Bless-A-Family

Every year at Community Church the Bless-A-Family ministry seeks to bless those needing a little help at Christmas Time. At this time we are seeking names and information about folks who could use a little help. Please download the form, found in the link below, and return it to the church office at Ryf Road. If you’re at New City, please place the form in the offering buckets so it will be included in the bags from the services.

News and Notes

From Pastor Alan

Thank you Community Church! Give thanks with me for a minute. Today, let’s celebrate those who generously responded to the end-of-year letter I sent last week. The initial response from our church family is really exciting! I am also encouraged by those who have not participated yet, but told me that they will be in the next couple of weeks.
One of the great comments of praise and thanksgiving was, “God is powerfully at work! How could I not join in?” My hope and prayer is that we will all respond with that spirit. We all recognize that giving thanks is not limited to only one day a year, especially if we are followers of Jesus! God’s love poured out through Jesus Christ is reason alone for believers to thank the Lord! The opportunity to actively participate in His Kingdom is a joyful experience as we pray, “Lord, on earth as it is in Heaven!”
I eagerly anticipate the response that is yet to come as we finish this year well. Likewise, as we approach a new calendar year, I’m excited to see how God will use all of us to do His Will in our community and abroad.
Shalom!
Pastor Alan

Operation Christmas Child

Here is another celebration!! Last year Community Church filled 144 shoeboxes for children. This year…CC has donated 198 as of this minute on Thursday! WooHoo!! Let’s blow last year’s number out of the water and finish this week strong. Shoebox collection continues through Monday (11/24) at 10:00am. Bring yours along with you to church this Sunday. Boxes can be dropped off at either site this weekend, or at the church office today, tomorrow, or Monday.
Thanks church!

Hey church!

SISTERHOOD UNITY CONFERENCE – This Saturday (April 5th) is going to be amazing!!!! The worship team has been working hard and sounds GREAT! Pastor Drew is working on some awesome lighting for the event. And, Lord willing, the guest speaker will make it in to Wisconsin from Los Angeles tomorrow. Tickets are available at the door, or by registering HERE  If you have any questions, contact April Steffen. Ladies…let’s FILL the worship center! This event is in place of a retreat or other conferences…it’s gonna be THAT good!!
FOOD PANTRY – Our food pantry could use some non-perishable food items and paper products this month. If you have spare items, and you could bring them and put them in the shopping cart in the lobby…that would be great! Thanks for the help!!
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE – will be held at PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH (1325 Georgia Street – corner of Georgia and South Park Ave.) from 12:30 – 2:30.
