The Cafe 
This weekend in the cafe we will be serving Breakfast Sandwiches!

In the cafe today all proceeds will go to our ministry outreach program, Stephen Ministry. Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.

We now have a team of Stephen Ministers who are ready to step alongside you in your tough seasons and offer a listening ear. If you are in need of a Stephen Minister please scan the code below.

Heartfelt Goodbye
This week we will be saying goodby to Aaron Klemp, Delson Troedel and Alex Belling. They have each been an incredible asset to Community Church and will be greatly missed. Please join us in praying for them as they begin the new adventures that God has called them to.

You may recognize their faces from a Sunday morning and we could not be more pleased that they will be working with the team to further the mission of Community Church. Parking Lot Flow Update:Volunteers needed!
CCO is looking for childcare volunteers for occasional Bible studies held at the church.  If you are interested, please contact the church office for more information.

Faire on the Fox - July 12th
Faire on the Fox is an art and craft faire hosted on the shores of the Fox River. The Leach Amphitheater and Riverside Park will provide a fantastic backdrop of this historical event previously held on the grounds of the Paine Art Center & Gardens.
Volunteers will assist in a variety of ways, from assisting vendors with setup to greeting guests at the gates.

Sandhya works alongside AIA or Athletes in Action. Athletes in Action (AIA) is an international, faith-based sports organization that operates as the sports ministry of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). Founded in 1966, its mission is to help athletes and coaches develop "holistically" (physically, mentally, and spiritually) while using sports as a platform to share their Christian faith. Adventures with Ollie!
PreSchool families! Take Ollie the Owl on your summer adventures! This is a great way to share Ollie (and Jesus!) with others this summer. Register for a week to bring Ollie home so your child can pray and play with Ollie. Begins June 7 - August 23

CSM Mission Trip Fundraiser!
CSM is selling Kwik Trip Car Wash Cards to support their High school Mission Trip to Tulsa Oklahoma with Praying Pelican Missions. 5-Count ULTIMATE Car Wash Cards are $36.00. The cards do not expire and can be used at any Kwik Trip Car Wash.

Last day to place an order is Sunday, June 14th. Cards may be picked up beginning June 21st.

Community Kids will be open for Full Programming during the 8am, 9:30 and 11am services. Community Kids Unlimited (CKU), our special needs children's ministry, will be available at the 9:30am service.

This Sunday is Pop-Up Sunday! Kiddos Pre-K through 4th grade will be POPPING UP to the next grade!

Oshkosh Community Care:
Patty, who is from Oshkosh and is disabled is looking for assistance with a move this Saturday, June 6th around 1pm. The move would involve taking smaller items from home into vehicles to the new location about a mile away.

Ever wanted to read through the Bible but felt overwhelmed or unsure where to start? This group is a relaxed, welcoming space to journey through Scripture together using Bible Project videos as our guide.

In the cafe today all proceeds go toward supporting the CSM Summer Mission Trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma. June 27th - July 3rd CSM High School Students will be working in partnership with Praying Pelican Missions. Praying Pelican Missions exists to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church in serving and reaching their communities for Christ. We'll be helping with Church Day Camps for kids and doing several service projects including painting/cleaning, church projects and gardening projects. Learn More HERE

Our main ministries are our School of Worship, which equips ~140 musicians and leaders each year, our CSM/online resource library of song tutorials and materials (over 300 songs, used by over 100 worship teams each week), and our CSM/worship artist collective, through which we write and share new worship songs with the local church in Poland. CSM is in its 18th year of ministry. Learn More HERE

Annual Business Meeting
Join us for the CCO Annual Business Meeting Sunday, May 31st, 2026 in place of our 11am service in the Worship Center. Please plan to join us for 8am or 9:30am services and then stick around for the business meeting at 11! This meeting is open to members and non CCO members (only members may vote). Please email info@community-church.com if you have any questions. Community Kids will NOT be open during the 11am Business Meeting.
*Copies of our 2026-2027 Budget are available to pick-up at the Security Desk in the lobby to review before the meeting. You may request a digital copy by emailing us at info@community-church.com

Men's Ministry Bonfire Night!
Get ready for a night of great food, fun, and connection on Thursday, May 21st from 6-10pm! 5th Grade Graduation!
Community Kids is holding a graduation ceremony for our 5th graders!
You don't want to miss this! We are so proud of them and their time spent in Community Kids. This graduation ceremony will take place during the 8am and 9:30am church services only on Sunday, May 31st. Please register your child in advance.

5th Grade Preview Night
May 20th, CSM will be open for our 5th grade preview night! This is an opportunity for them to check out CSM in full swing before they join us in the fall. Come from 6-8pm and join in on all the games, worship time and the main message. There will even be a time towards the end of the night to connect with the leaders and ask any questions they may have.

End of the Year Party!
CSM - the end of the year is upon us! Middle & High School Students are invited to join us from 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 27th for a year-end party. There will be cardboard boat races, chalk wars (students should plan to wear white), prizes, worship and a sendoff of the current seniors.
*Don't forget to bring in your boat supplies THIS WEDNESDAY to work on your boats for the boat races.

Our main ministries are our School of Worship, which equips ~140 musicians and leaders each year, our CSM/online resource library of song tutorials and materials (over 300 songs, used by over 100 worship teams each week), and our CSM/worship artist collective, through which we write and share new worship songs with the local church in Poland. May 20th, CSM will be open for our 5th grade preview night! This is an opportunity for them to check out CSM in full swing before they join us in the fall. Come from 6-8pm and join in on all the games, worship time and the main message. There will even be a time towards the end of the night to connect with the leaders and ask any questions they may have.

End of the Year Party!
CSM - the end of the year is upon us! Middle & High School Students are invited to join us from 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 27th for a year-end party. There will be cardboard boat races, chalk wars (students should plan to wear white), prizes, worship and a sendoff of the current seniors.

At CCO MomCo, we understand the unique challenges of motherhood and want to support and encourage you every step of the way. Our hope is that you will find a welcoming community here, where you can connect with other women who are in the same season of life and find encouragement, support, and relevant teachings to help you navigate this exciting journey. MomCo is for all mothers that are pregnant through moms that have elementary aged children. Join us at meetups, mom's night outs and playdates.

PRAYER REQUEST: MomCo needs more childcare volunteers. A childcare volunteer commitment can be once or twice a month for roughly 2.5 hours. We provide childcare for at least 35 children. Find the MomCo group on our website to inquire.

Samaritan's Purse Flood Response
Over the last week hundreds of homes in the northeast Wisconsin region have sustained substantial flooding and other storm damage. Sign up HERE to help! 

Volunteers will assist homeowners in New London area affected by recent flooding.  We will help with content recovery, debris cleanup, and mudout. There will be opportunities for overnight and day volunteers. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Volunteers will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.

Pastor Lu is founder and director of Asia Frontier Outreach-SE Asia.  He & his wife, Betty, live in Chiang Mai, Thailand, directing the ministries of Jesus Foot Soldiers throughout SE Asia and Family-Based Child Care in Myanmar.  In the last year, a new door of ministry has opened to Pastor Lu of mentoring and encouraging pastors and Christian leaders throughout SE Asia.  This is done by speaking at conferences and personal counseling. This month we are highlighting Jane Fischer with Converge.

Since 1993, I have been a missionary to Japan, teaching at Christian Academy in Japan. In this capacity, I teach Bible, English, and Social Studies to 8th grade international students, which provides daily opportunities to share the gospel with non-Christian students, as well as to disciple Christian students to grow in their faith walk. In addition to this work at school, I am part of a Japanese church, where I have the opportunity to disciple young Christian ladies in their faith walks. In my own neighborhood, I have been reaching out to two of my neighbors who are not yet Christians, but they are open to listening. Learn More HERE

High School Students!!! Join CSM on a MISSION TRIP this summer, June 27th - July 3rd. We are going to Tulsa, Oklahoma in partnership with Praying Pelican Missions.

Praying Pelican Missions exists to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church in serving and reaching their communities for Christ. In the cafe today all proceeds go toward supporting Solutions Recovery, a community outreach program. It was formed in 2007 and opened their first sober living home in 2015. Since then has grown to offer more than 30 sober living beds for men and women in the Oshkosh Area. Their main mission is to support and empower those impacted by alcohol and drug addiction to enhance the quality of life in our community. Programs were added to support and grow the reach of our mission and to meet the needs presented by not only our recovery community, but the broader community as well. Bible Bucks Store!
Elementary will host the final Bible Bucks Store on May 17th! Elementary students have been working hard collecting Bible Bucks this year by bringing their bibles to church, memorizing scripture, bringing an offering, and more! May 17th is the time to stop by with your child in between services and let them spend their bible bucks! You can find the store down the Community Life hallway in classroom 3!

High School Students!!! Join CSM on a MISSION TRIP this summer, June 27th - July 3rd. We are going to Tulsa, Oklahoma in partnership with Praying Pelican Missions.

Praying Pelican Missions exists to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church in serving and reaching their communities for Christ. CK 5th Grade Graduation!
Community Kids is holding a graduation ceremony for our 5th graders! You don't want to miss this! We are so proud of them and their time spent in Community Kids. This graduation ceremony will take place during both the 8am and 9:30am services on Sunday, May 31st.

To have your child be a part of this ceremony, they will need to be in attendance in their Community Kids classroom that day (per usual check-in procedures for Sunday services). Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30PM, CCO will host “Christ in the Passover: A Presentation.” This powerful presentation, will demonstrate the link between the Jewish feast of Passover and the last supper Jesus shared with His disciples.

Join us for an explanation of the beautiful symbolism of the Jewish ceremony called a seder. We’ll weave the story of the exodus and freedom from slavery together with the messianic hope realized in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. The words “do this in remembrance of me” will take on an even deeper meaning to Christians as we learn the significance of the tradition Jesus observed the night before He died and give us a closer look at the very Jewish life He led. Jewish or not, religious or not—all are welcome for this unforgettable, thought-provoking experience.We will be partaking in Communion together during service.

Friday, April 3rd at 6:30PM, CCO will host an in-person Good Friday service. We'll take time to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us, partake in communion together and worship Him. We'll reflect on all the temporary items Jesus borrowed during Holy Week just to permanently take away our sin and give us life!

This month we are highlighting Asia Frontier Outreach.

About 25 years ago, 12 men came to Pastor Lu and asked him to disciple them. Pastor Lu said, "yes", and based on 2 Timothy 2:2, taught them to teach others what they were learning. Community Kids will be open for Full Programming during the 8am, 9:30am services but will be CLOSED at the 11am service. Community Kids Unlimited (CKU), our special needs children's ministry, will be available at the 9:30am service.

In the cafe today all proceeds go towards In the cafe today all proceeds go towards DIME Ministry! D, I, M, E – is to be Daughters who ignite, mobilize and encourage God’s women around the world. We travel to where these pastors’ wives are located and at no cost to them, we facilitate an overnight retreat for them. Community Kids is in need of individually wrapped candy for our Easter Jam egg hunt! This event brought over 300 children last year and we are excited to offer an egg hunt this year. Donations can be brought to Community Kids now through March 22nd! Thank you!

We’re looking to build a small team of volunteers to help monitor our security camera feed during Sunday morning services. This role helps us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on campus.
No experience is necessary — training will be provided.
Our goal is to create a rotation schedule so no one serves every week. If you’re dependable, attentive, and willing to serve behind the scenes, we’d love to have you on the team.

For 5 days this building is filled with over 200 children from all over the community as they go on an epic journey to discover God’s Kingdom! Last year we had over 90 volunteers step up and make this time impactful, one parent said their daughter looks forward to it every summer. High School 2026 Summer Mission Trip
High School Students!!! Join CSM on a MISSION TRIP this summer, June 27th - July 3rd. We are going to Tulsa, Oklahoma in partnership with Praying Pelican Missions.

Praying Pelican Missions exists to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church in serving and reaching their communities for Christ. We'll be helping with Church Day Camps for Kids and doing several service projects including painting/cleaning, church projects and gardening projects.

Snow Duels Celebrations!
This past weekend 114 students and 21 leaders braved the cold and had the BEST time at Snow Duels! 13 students raised their hands to welcome Jesus into their lives! God is GOOD. From June 15–19, Community Kids will experience a week full of fun, faith, and excitement—and we can’t do it without you! VBS volunteers are expected to serve June 15–19 from 8:30 am–12:30 pm, as well as attend required training dates prior to VBS. Please make sure to have your student fed and to community church by 5:30pm on Friday the 6th. We plan to leave the parking lot no later than 6pm. We are planning to leave around 10:30am on Sunday which should get us back to church by 12:30pm.

Worship services are at 8am, 9:30am and 11am. We'll be continuing our series: Here We Go Again! This series shows how our repeated failures meet God’s relentless grace and how He alone can break the cycle and lead us forward. We'll be in Judges 3:7-31 this Sunday and taking communion together during service.

Community Kids will be open for Full Programming during the 8am, 9:30 and 11am services. Community Kids Unlimited (CKU), our special needs children's ministry, will be available at the 9:30am service.

Community Kids Elementary kiddos will be having a Sunday at the movies! They can come to church wearing their coziest pjs, bring their favorite stuffed animal and get ready to watch a movie with their friends.

Torch on the Tundra Men's Event
Torch on the Tundra is a Men's Ministry event where men of all ages can meet, eat, and recreate with other men of CCO out on the ice of a local lake. The event will feature a bonfire on the ice, venison chili, ice fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, broomball, and whatever else we decide to do for fun! We will create opportunities for guys to try these activities, even if they have no ice fishing gear, no snowmobiles, etc. Invite friends and family, come out, and if you have gear you want to play with on the ice, please bring it out.

Stephen Ministry Training
Stephen Ministry is launching new training! Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one Christian care—meeting weekly to listen, pray, and walk with someone through a challenging season. They’re trained lay caregivers, not professional counselors, but compassionate companions in Christ. Being a Stephen Minister may be one of the most fulfilling and transformative ministries you will ever be a part of. You will grow spiritually and gain skills to use not only in your caring ministry but also in your everyday relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

Worship services are at 8am, 9:30am and 11am. We'll be continuing our series, "Rhythms", while focusing on the importance of generosity. Being generous does not just mean with your finances, it is your time, your energy, the resources you have been given. Let's talk about how to align your generosity with Christ's view.

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month and January 11th (this Sunday) is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Join us in wearing BLUE on Sunday, Jan. 11th to raise awareness and join the fight against Human Trafficking.

Community Kids will be open for Full Programming during the 8am, 9:30 and 11am services. Community Kids Unlimited (CKU), our special needs children's ministry, will be available at the 9:30am service.

This weekend in the cafe we will be serving Egg Bake & French Toast Bake!

All proceeds will go toward supporting Valley Christian School. Valley Christian School is where God's Word and purposeful education meet to graduate Christ-Centered World-Changers. It is a school for 4k -12th grade. Their mission is for students to discover their God-given design , be equipped to reach their full potential and boldly impact their world for Christ. Stephen Ministry Training
Stephen Ministry is launching new training! Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one Christian care—meeting weekly to listen, pray, and walk with someone through a challenging season. They’re trained lay caregivers, not professional counselors, but compassionate companions in Christ. Being a Stephen Minister may be one of the most fulfilling and transformative ministries you will ever be a part of. You will grow spiritually and gain skills to use not only in your caring ministry but also in your everyday relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
New training begins Sunday mornings, 9:30–12:00, starting January 18. Register HERE

1st Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day Rally - Damascus Road Project
Damascus Road Project will be holding signs for the 16th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day Rally at the Opera House Square (sundial) in Oshkosh from 1pm-3pm. Come for an hour or stay for the entire event!  

Meet at the Oshkosh Police Department Community vehicle when you arrive. Dress Warm! Signs & hot beverages will be provided. No training required. Everyone is welcome. Please share! The more people we have, the greater the impact! An additional rally will be held in Waupaca if you are closer to that location at Public Gazebo Park on Main St. from 11:30am-1:30pm. AfterParty! Volleyball and Dinner
AfterParty! join us on Sunday, January 18th from 2-7pm for a fun afternoon of volleyball at The Bar (2-5) and dinner to follow (place to be determined). Bring your favorite cup and join us for a morning of warmth and connection as we enjoy a hot cocoa bar with muffins and hear testimony from one of our Women’s Ministry leaders, Brenda Hernday, on her journey with God, how God led her to start a ministry, where that ministry is going, and how you can be engaged and encourage women around the world with her.

Torch on the Tundra Men's Event
Torch on the Tundra is a Men's Ministry event where men of all ages can meet, eat, and recreate with other men of CCO out on the ice of a local lake. The event will feature a bonfire on the ice, venison chili, ice fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, broomball, and whatever else we decide to do for fun! We will create opportunities for guys to try these activities, even if they have no ice fishing gear, no snowmobiles, etc. Invite friends and family, come out, and if you have gear you want to play with on the ice, please bring it out.

The Mindful Marriage Conference
The Mindful Marriage Conference™ is designed to inspire, educate, and encourage couples in all seasons of life (pre-marriage, marriage, and blended family marriage) toward greater intimacy and stability. Designed for healthy and distressed couples alike.
Cost is $25 per couple if you register before December 31, 2025 (Cost goes up to $50 from January 1-March)
Friday, March 13 from 6:30-8:30pm and Saturday, March 14 from 8:30am-12:30pm. Children's programming is available (but limited) only with pre-registration.

NCFCA Christian Speech and Debate
The NCFCA is still looking for 300 community members willing to serve at the upcoming NCFCA Appleton Qualifier on January 6, 7, and 8th. Your willingness to listen, evaluate, and encourage is all we need!  Our competitors reach new levels when they get feedback from new people and new perspectives. Our tournaments allow you to choose a block of time that works for your schedule. In the span of 2-3 hours, you can make a life-changing impact by judging either a set of speeches or a round of debate.

How did a collection of writings written more than 2000 years ago end up in your lap in a language you can understand? But, more importantly, why do we care about it? Join us as we explore the history of the Bible, the challenges of translating the Bible from one language to another, and why this book is so important.
