THE TABLE PROJECT
When we look around our community, we see real people—our neighbors, fellow parents, grandparents, children—who are living day-to-day without the assurance of a meal. Almost 10% of all residents in Winnebago County face food insecurity—meaning they don’t always have consistent access to enough nutritious food.
When nearly 1 in 10 families don’t know where their next nourishing meal will come from, we cannot remain passive. Which is why we’re launching a new initiative called The Table Project—a way for our church family to temporarily come alongside local households who are struggling to put food on the table.
