General Announcements
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Community Church, that means understanding how it affects each of you and our local community, and then making the necessary changes.
Sunday, March 15th we will live-stream one service at 10:45, but otherwise, all public services and activities of Community Church will be canceled for the week of March 15th.
We are taking extra measures to minimize the risk of transmission and are following guidelines as well as advice from medical and government authorities to limit the spread of the virus. Learn more about the extra steps we are taking and any updates on our website.
CANDY DONATIONS! We are looking for donations for the Hero Central Easter Egg Hunt. Please drop off individually wrapped candy at the Hero Central desk at both Ryf Road & New City by March 29th.
During the month of March we are collecting much needed items for the children’s home we partner with in Haiti. These items keep the ministry going! Find a list of items needed at community-church.com/haiti. There are also new babies at the home because of the violence in country. These babies need sponsors. If anyone feels led to sponsor a child they can find more info at haitipoverty.org.
We believe baptism is an outward sign of something God has done in your life. If you are a follower of Jesus, the next step is baptism. We will be offering baptisms on April 26th. Please fill out this form if interested.
The 2020 Community Garden plot sign-up is now open. The Community Church Community Garden is a ministry to help show the world what God is like by echoing the original call to care for creation in the Genesis story. Reserve your plot at community-church.com/garden.
Peace Lutheran Church is having their Annual Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 4th, 8am-2pm. Most items are 50 cents with a few items marked higher. Baked goods and Hmong Egg Rolls will also be for sale.
The Poland Mission Team will be selling Cinnamon Rolls on Easter Sunday, April 12th. You can pre-order your rolls at community-church.com/cinnamonrolls today!
Easter Week
Palm Sunday - April 5th
We will be meeting at both Ryf Road & New City at 9:00am/ 10:45am. We will take a look at Luke 19:28-40. We will not have communion during this service, but we will share in the Lord's Supper at the Good Friday Service (April 10th) at CC New City.
Oshkosh Community Good Friday Service - April 10th 12:30pm - 2:30pm.
Pastors from area churches, along with Pastor Karl Kramer, Pastor Joe Aronson and Pastor Alan Cleveland will be sharing in the service on the seven last sayings of Jesus on the cross. The Oshkosh Community Good Friday service will be held at Calvary SonRise Church (222 Church Street Oshkosh).
Good Friday Service - April 10th
Please join us for Good Friday worship service as we remember and reflect together on Christ's sacrifice for us and share in the Lord's Supper. We will be meeting at Community Church New City from 6:30-7:30pm.
Easter Sunday - April 12th
Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will have Easter Morning services at one site. We will meet at CC Ryf Road at 9:00am and 10:45am.
Hero Central Children's Programming will be open for Nursery - 6th grade at the 9am service. At the 10:45am service Hero Central will be open for Nursery - PreK ONLY.

Young Adults will be hosting an Escape Room Activity at Escape Oshkosh on Sunday, March 22nd at 5:45-7:30. The cost is $26/person. Sign up at community-church.com/youngadult.
Celebrate Recovery meets on Sunday nights at 6:00. Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live. March 15th meeting is canceled.

Men's Ministry
Wild Game Feed! Join us Tuesday, April 21st 6:30 - 8:00pm at Community Church - Ryf Road.
It's a wild game pot luck. Bring your already prepared favorite wild game dish, fish, duck, venison, elk or bear to church at 6:15. Don't have any wild game? Bring potatoes, dessert, or salad fixings. You really don't need to bring anything but yourself and that would be awesome! Please email Dan Tentcher at dtentcher@charter.net and tell him what you are bringing or that you are just attending by April 14. This is important so we can determine if we have enough dishes for this event. In 2019 we had over 30 guys attend. Let's top this number in 2020!

Missions
Guyana Missions will be meeting Monday March 23rd 6pm in the Fireside room at Ryf Road. This is the last chance to join the team! We will be discussing the logistics of the trip and preparing for fundraising. If you have questions, please email Deb at dhoutsie34@yahoo.com.
