General Announcements

Hero Central is looking for volunteers. If interested in helping serve, please contact Wendy at wendyls@community-church.com.

Women's Restoration Conference featuring Rachel Swift will be held at Community Church Oshkosh on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 9:00am - 3:00pm.  Join us for this one day conference. For additional information and to register, go to community-church.com/restoration.

Exalt Women's Conference will be held Saturday, October 16, 8:00 a.m. - Noon at New Life Community Church, Oshkosh. For additional information and to register CLICK HERE.

Women's Bible Study starting this fall. How can you trust that God is good? Join us on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings as we try to answer this question. The study will begin Wednesday, September 8 (6:00-7:30 PM) and Thursday, September 9 (9-10:30 AM). Register now at community-church.com/women.

Monday Night Women's Bible Study on Forgiveness. This six-week study through the topic of forgiveness in the Bible will take us from Cain and Abel's story in Genesis to Jesus' command to Peter to forgive "not seven times, but seventy-seven times"... and finally to Jesus' words on the cross. Kaukauna Knights of Columbus Council 1022 is hosting a Public Prayer Service for the "National Day of Remembrance for the Aborted Child on Saturday, September 18th at 1pm. You can join us at Holy Cross Cemetery on North Lawe Street Kaukauna. All are invited to bring an item appropriate for baby or expecting mother. Items will be donated to Vida Clinic in Appleton. Missions

This month we are highlighting the ministry of Converge & Carol Foral. Converge is a movement of churches working to help people meet, know and follow Jesus. We do this by starting and strengthening churches together worldwide. Carol partners with Converge Great Lakes, working with the Deaf Ministry. Find out more at community-church.com/missionary.

Groups

Young Adult Camping Trip THIS WEEKEND!  Cost:  $60/person We will provide the food and campsites.  You will need to provide your own transportation, tent, sleeping bag/pillow, towels and toiletries, etc.  Sign up to join us at community-church.com/youngadult.

Senior Gathering Potluck & Movie Night Thursday, September 16th Potluck 6:00pm | Movie 7:00pm featuring: I Still Believe (Life story of Jeremy Camp). Celebrate Recovery meets every Friday from 6-8pm at CC New City.  If you would like to get connected with the group, please contact Ron Paulick.  Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live.  

Hero Central

This Sunday HERO CENTRAL will be OPEN for Nursery -6th grade during the 9am service at both sites.

It's Back to School time, and that means kids will be MOVING UP to the next class in Hero Central. This Sunday, kids will move to their current grade level.

CSM

CSM is our Student Ministry at Community Church. Students 6th - 12th grade are encouraged to join us each Wednesday 6-8pm for fun, fellowship, teaching and a time of worship.

CSM FUNDRAISER!  This Saturday, September 11th 9am-3pm at W436 Brooklyn J in Ripon. Proceeds will help support CSM events & scholarships. For additional information or if you are available to serve or contact Pastor Tommy at tommyk@community-church.com.

CSM likes to celebrate students that have perfect attendance, bring a friend, and birthday week. We do this through VIP! CSM is looking for people willing to support VIP through grab and go treats or monetary donations. You can sign up at community-church.com/csmvip. Email Pastor Tommy with any questions.

CSM High School Camping Trip is September 17-19th.  High School students are invited to join us for a weekend camping trip to Hartman Creek State Park. We will depart Friday, September 17th 4:30pm and return to Community Church Sunday, September 19th at 12:00 noon. The cost is $30 per student. Sign up now at community-church.com/csmcamping.
