GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
MomCo Childcare Volunteers Needed!
Are you looking for a very part-time job or some volunteer hours? MomCo, a community for moms, needs childcare volunteers or paid workers (ages 18+). Volunteers commit to serving either once or twice a month, from 8:30am to 11:15am, this time includes a meeting before the children arrive. A paid commitment involves working meetings twice a month for one semester. MomCo meetups are usually the first and third Friday of the month, September - May. Anyone over 18 must complete a background check. MomCo averages over 40 moms and 35 children participating in each meeting. MomCo meets at Community Church Oshkosh.

We are looking for childcare volunteers for Wednesday nights to provide childcare for our CSM volunteers and Foundation class attendees. Please message the church office or email info@community-church.com if you are interested.
CCO Business Meeting
Join us for the CCO Annual Business Meeting Sunday, October 11th, 2026 following our 11am service in the Worship Center.
Bible Buddies Mentors
Children entering 1st grade in the fall of 2026 are invited to participate in the Community Kids Bible Buddies Program. Bible Buddies pairs each first grader with a caring mentor from the CCO congregation who will invest in them, encourage them, and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Could that mentor be YOU?
As a Bible Buddy mentor, you will:
- Sponsor the cost of a new Bible for your buddy
- Send your buddy an encouraging postcard once a month for 8 months (October–May)
- Encourage and inspire your buddy to spend time reading their Bible at home
- Pray for your buddy throughout the school year
- Attend Bible Buddies events and look for opportunities to connect with your buddy and their family.
Our hope is that mentors and families will communicate throughout the year and work together to create a meaningful relationship that encourages your buddy in their faith.

You're invited to Vida's annual Walk for Life! Gather your family and friends and join the community in a meaningful two-mile walk that embraces the God-given value of all human persons and ensures that Vida's life-changing services continue for years to come.

Community Kids is in need of candy donations for their annual Fall Fest. Please bring individually wrapped candy to the CK desk by October 4th.
Sidewalk Prophets | Great Big Family Christmas
The Great Big Family Christmas has become a beloved holiday tradition for families across the country. The night’s setlist includes the band’s powerful hits, their original Christmas songs, and timeless holiday classics, creating an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Serve the City is back for another year at CCO! The last weekend in September we go out into our community and SERVE! Last year we had over 600 of you participating in service projects all over Oshkosh, we can't wait to see what this year looks like!
September 13th and 20th, please pick up your t-shirt using your t-shirt coupon located in your confirmation email after you register to serve.

MISSIONS
This month we are highlighting Harry and Jenny VanBurik. Harry & Jenny van Burik have been attending Community Church since 2002 and are the founders of Cherith International. Cherith seeks to encourage and come alongside pastors serving small rural congregations in challenging circumstances, and to show the love of Jesus to less privileged people in tangible ways.

Join us for story time, worship, crafts, snacks, and fellowship. Kiddos age 5 and under and their caregivers are invited to join us.

Dress up as your favorite cartoon character, a silly costume, or come as yourself! Reminder: this is not a scary event. Please do not wear/decorate anything with fake blood, skull & crossbones, etc.
