General Announcements

Focus 2020 Sunday, January 26th at 3pm.  Join us for a night to focus on the year ahead. We will be offering seminars to help Each One Reach One. Child Care will be provided.  

Planning for the future is hard when you’re still paying for the past! Listen—there’s a better way! Join our Financial Peace University class, and we’ll learn how to beat debt and make a plan for the future . . . together! Interested? Join me at Ryf Road starting January 19th at 2pm. The annual Heritage Gala is approaching on February 14th. Each year this event benefits the mission trips and projects of Community Church. This years dinner will be benefitting the mission trip to Poland and also our CSM ministry. We are looking for Gala Sponsors to help defray the cost of dinner.  If you know of a business that might be interested in donating, please contact John Wruck. Click here for additional information.

This month Mission Spotlight is the Cafe' on Ryf.  The mission of the cafe' is to make an impact locally and globally through meals hosted by different mission / ministry teams. Click here to find out more and how you can support this ministry.

MENDING ARROWS, our new ministry to help foster and adoptive families, will be holding it’s first training session this Sunday January 12th at noon. Join us in the Community Room at Ryf Road.  All volunteers are required to attend a training session prior to volunteering. Lunch and child care will be provided. Sign up here.

Have you lost something? We may have found it. Stop by the LOST & FOUND down the hallway by the church office. We will be cleaning out and donating anything unclaimed.

Groups

Brendan Brooks, a Wisconsin native will be joining us on Sunday, January 19th at 6pm for Celebrate Recovery. Brendan is determined and self taught musician that loves Jesus. He has opened for Toby Mac, Sidewalk Prophets, Citizen Way as well as other Christian bands. Join us at 6pm for this Free Event as Brendan shares his story and music. Celebrate Recovery meets on Sunday nights at 6:00.  Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live.

Young Adult Bowling Night! Join us for a fun night of bowling at The Lanes at The Howard on January 17, 7:00-9:00pm.  The cost is $10 per person including shoes.  Must be 21 years old or older.  Register by January 13 at community-church.com/youngadult.

Hero Central

HERO Central is in need of brown paper shopping bags.  If you have any extra to donate, please drop off at the HERO Central desk January 12 & 19.

CSM

CSM will be hosting a fundraiser at Pizza Ranch Monday, January 20th. Mark your calendars and plan to come out to support CSM.

Women's Ministry

IF:Oshkosh February 7-8, 2020 is two day conference we will turn off all the noise, get in the Word, experience powerful teaching, dive into authentic conversations, worship Jesus, and hear stories that will compel you to take your next steps towards life and peace. Cost is $20 and includes lunch.  Sign up today!

Join us for our Women's Retreat March 20th - March 21st at Green Lake Conference Center. Lynne Johnson will be speaking as we explore the theme of restoration. Sign up today!

Men's Ministry

Join us for Men's Breakfast this Saturday, January 11th. We will be meeting from 8-10am at Community Church Ryf Road. Don't miss out on this opportunity to fellowship and enjoy a great breakfast, including bacon! Sign up today so we can plan accordingly.

Community Church is excited to once again be hosting No Regrets Men's Conference Saturday, February 1st. The theme for this year is “Uncommon” based on Romans 12:2.  Early registration is $30 per person starting January 11. January 20th registration will increase to $35.00.
