General Announcements

November is National Runaway & Homeless Youth Prevention Month. Community Church is partnering with Boys & Girls Club and “Youth on the Move” to help spread awareness and shine a light on youth homelessness. You will notice green footprints on the front doors marking us as a safe spot and supporter. The footprints are a way to let youth know that as they walk, they are never alone, they walk with their community. Stop in the Cafe' this Sunday! All donations will support "Youth on the Move" and they will have a table with additional information.

Vertical Worship in Concert is coming to Community Church Oshkosh Saturday, November 13th @ 7pm. Tickets are on sale NOW at community-church.com/verticalworship.

Community Kids is hosting an Operation Christmas Child Packing Party & Bake Sale. During Foundations on November 7th, Community Kids will be packing shoe boxes to send to children world wide. This is a great opportunity to share the Gospel with children that may have never heard about Jesus' love!
The Cafe' will be open all morning on November 7th with a Bake Sale! The donations raised during the Bake Sale will be used to cover the cost of shipping the Operation Christmas child boxes.
We need your help with donations! Please sign up to help at community-church.com/packingparty.

Perspectives is coming to Community Church Oshkosh in 2022, starting January 18th. Perspectives  is a fifteen-week course designed around four vantage points or "perspectives" — Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic. Each one highlights different aspects of God's global purpose. God has a "world-sized" role for every Christian in His global purpose. Whether people go to distant countries or stay at home is a secondary issue. The primary issue is what most people are hungry to discover: vision to live a life of purpose. Discovering that vision makes this course valuable, and perhaps crucial, for any Christian. For more information or to sign up go to perspectives.org.

Bless a Family is a ministry to help families in need or to encourage families during the Christmas season. If you know of a family that could use assistance please nominate them at community-church.com/blessafamily.  Applications are due November 7th.

Operation Christmas Child kicks off the collection season THIS SUNDAY by handing out empty shoeboxes for you to fill!  The worldwide goal this year is to collect 9.7 million shoeboxes. That is 9.7 million opportunities to share the Gospel to children that may have never heard about Jesus' love!  Help our church make a contribution to that goal!  Pack a shoebox!
