FOUNDATIONS

Foundation classes meet Sunday mornings at 8:30am, during the first service.

The Audacity of Friendship

The most amazing thing that Jesus said may be "I have called you friends" (John 15:15).  Unfortunately, the meaning of friendship has changed many times since the moment those words were spoken. Today, most of our models of relationship come from mid twentieth century psychology, which was hostile to faith - but there is a better way.

Where’d your Bible Come From?

How did a collection of writings written more than 2000 years ago end up in your lap in a language you can understand? But, more importantly, why do we care about it? Join us as we explore the history of the Bible, the challenges of translating the Bible from one language to another, and why this book is so important.

 Disability & The Church

In a culture that has become increasingly accommodating towards those with special needs, one must ask some questions. Is accommodation the same as love? And what is the Church’s role in loving those with disabilities? Join us for a class that will look at Scripture to correct our hearts to align with God’s heart toward humans with disabilities.

Nativity Sets

We've all seen nativity sets around Christmas time - whether it's a classic representation of the nativity in somebody's lawn or a kid's version at a store. But who are these people, exactly? Why does God choose to declare the birth of the Messiah to a bunch of shepherds? And who or what exactly is a magi? Join us as we explore what the Bible has to say about the birth of Jesus.
