Nursery - 5th Grade + Community Kids Unlimited (Special Needs Ministry)

Community Kids works alongside parents in helping children establish a strong, biblical foundation upon which to build their lives and develop a faith that, in God’s timing, will lead them into personal relationship with Christ.

With a focus on the family, we will help parents build their family unit by applying Godly principles on a daily basis, thus enabling parents to become strong, Godly examples for their children and others to follow.

Community Kids offers classes for children, nursery – 5th grade. If you are new, please stop by the Community Kids desk to register and become part of the Community Kids family.

Community Kids and Community Kids Unlimited is always looking for students (6th grade and up), men, and women who love to work with  kids to teach them about Jesus.

We believe that every child deserves to hear about how much Jesus loves them and every family deserves to be able to attend church. No matter what differing abilities or special needs your child has, we will work with you to find the best ways to help your child feel loved and supported!

We as a church are blessed to be able to offer Community Kids Unlimited, our Special Needs Ministry. We have an adapted classroom setting within our children’s ministry, in which, we have sensory spaces, adapted curriculum and dedicated volunteers ready to help your child thrive and grow in God’s love. We are ready to welcome you and your child into our church family!

VBS 2026! 

Vacation Bible School | June 15-19th, 2026 - KINGDOM QUEST! 

This is a 5 day event for kids entering PreK-5th grade who want to go on an epic journey to discover God's Kingdom! This event is:
  • FUN
Seriously—music, games, laughter, and unforgettable moments with kids and other volunteers. VBS is one of the best weeks of the year!
  • IMPACTFUL
Your time can help shape a child’s faith, build confidence, and create memories they’ll carry for a lifetime. What you do matters more than you know.
  • CHRIST-FOCUSED
Everything we do points kids to Jesus—His love, His truth, and His grace. Volunteering is a powerful way to serve and grow in your own faith too.

April 26th - 5th graders are invited to join The Bridge, CCO's middle school foundations class at 9:30 in the meeting room
May 4  - Play and Praise!
May 9th - Mother's Day Tea Party 10-11:00AM
May 20th - 5th Grade CSM preview night
May 24th - CK programming closed all 3 services for Memorial Day weekend
May 31st - 5th grade graduation at 8 and 9:30AM only (11:00 business meeting)
June 7th - Pop Up Sunday! (kids going into Kindergarten in the fall through 4th graders will pop up to the next classroom)
June 14th - Owlets - 5th grade classes closed in preparation for VBS. Nursery-3s will remain open at 8 and 9:30AM only - Start of summer programming -11AM closed from 6/14-9/6
June 15-19th - VBS!!!
September 13th - Resume full programming at 8, 9:30, AND 11AM services

CHILD DEDICATION

Child Dedication is a ceremony that dedicates a child to God and welcomes them into the church. Parents also dedicate themselves to raising the child in a Godly home.
