General Announcements
Hosea's Heart is coming to Community Church Oshkosh! Scars: Up From the Ashes will feature 10 performers from Hosea’s Heart at CCO Oshkosh on Wednesday, August 23rd at 6pm.
We could not be more excited & honored to be bringing this powerful & empowering performance to Oshkosh: a performance that not only raises awareness of the realities of human trafficking and sexual violence worldwide, but also tells the story of hope, healing, forgiveness, and redemption through song, dance, and spoken word. You do not want to miss this breathtaking performance!
BUILDING UPDATE!
The construction progress has begun at CCO. We have the fence up around the front of the building. This Sunday, August 20th you will still be able to enter through the front doors. Coming soon, our main entrance will be through the single double doors to the left of the main entrance through the cafe. If stopping by during the week, please use the cafe door to enter.
Join us for the CCO Groundbreaking on Monday, August 21st at 6pm. We are excited to kick off this construction project as we follow Jesus together as a community of faith bringing faith to the community. All are invited to join us.
Plan to join us Sunday, August 27th for the CCO Church Picnic. We will have one service at 10am with a picnic to follow. Sandwiches, chips, and fruit will be provided. Sunshine Uganda will be hosting a FREE Carnival featuring bounce houses, face painting, games and prizes. Donations are encouraged to support their upcoming mission trip this fall. Hosea's Heart will be hosting Carnival Treats, all donations will support their school.
Serve the City Weekend is September 22-24, 2023. As a church we will get involved in service projects across the city of Oshkosh so we can be the hands and feet of Jesus. Sign up to join us at community-church.com/servethecity. We will not have worship services this weekend to allow everyone to get out and Serve the City!
Cherith International Benefit Concert “A Touch From Jesus” featuring Dan Sanchez, a midwest known tribute signer. All are welcome Friday, August 18 at 7:00pm at Calvary SonRise Church Oshkosh. CLICK HERE for more information.

Groups
Celebrate Recovery meets Friday evenings from 6-8pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 808 N. Main Street Oshkosh. Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live. CLICK HERE for additional information.
Young Adult
Young Adults are invited to join us Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm. We will be meeting in the CCO Cafe. CLICK HERE for more information.
Community Kids
This Sunday Community Kids will be open at the 8:30am service for nursery - 5th grade & Community Kids Unlimited. At 10am Community Kids will be open for nursery -preK only.
Children entering 1st grade in the fall of 2023 are invited to participate in Community Kid's Bible Buddies program. Bible Buddies consists of a mentor from CCO's congregation who sponsors the cost of a new hardcover NIrV Bible for your child. This mentor is also responsible for sending your child postcards once a month for a period of 12 months. This postcard is meant to encourage, equip, and inspire your child to dive deeper into their Bible readings while at home and at church. Sign up at community-church.com/biblebuddies.
