Donations and supplies are needed to run VBS in a way that allows us to offer it free of charge. Please consider donating today.
There are two ways to donate:

• We have Amazon Wish List you can purchase directly on amazon and have shipped to the church. 
• Sign up HERE to purchase these supplies and drop off at CCO before August 1st.

START THE PARTY! VBS 2024 is coming August 5-9th. Some classrooms, including Community Kids Unlimited (CKU) are now closed due to limited availability of trained volunteers. As classrooms reach capacity, please place your child on the waitlist. If/when a spot opens up, we will reach out to you to see if your child would still be interested in attending VBS. Join us to serve at the Day by Day Warming Shelter by providing and serving a meal. Sign up HERE for the date you wish to serve and let us know what items you will be bringing for the meal.

CCO Church Picnic will be happening Sunday, August 25th. We will have worship services at 8:30 | 10am with the picnic following the 10am service.

Join Aviation Missionaries on the eve of AirVenture2024, Sunday, July 21, for the MASA “Big Gathering” potluck supper at Plymouth Church, 1325 Georgia St, Oshkosh. Doors open at 5:00. The gathering in the sanctuary begins at 5:30. Following the meal downstairs with the missionaries, we will gather again in the sanctuary for the evening program. Come, meet the missionaries and hear about what God is doing through aviation to help build His kingdom. Please be sure to bring a double portion of food so that we have enough to serve our missionary guests, too. For more information, call Nevin at (920) 344-7512.

MASA needs help with our Welcome CREW during AirVenture. Those 16 years & older may volunteer helping direct vehicles at the camper registration entrance. Three shifts each day of 4-5 hours each. You may sign up to serve as many shifts as you want July 19-28. This blessing helps earn MASA campsites for our tent area. Please contact Tim Martin at (920) 585-4245 or go to oshkoshmasa.org.

Dear Community Church Family,

Susan and I thank you for the expressions of love and encouragement we received. Our family has been blessed by your support and generosity not only on my last Sunday as Senior Pastor, but in the preceding twenty-five years on staff. We are excited for Community Church in this new season, especially with Pastor Karl stepping up as Senior Pastor and working with the entire leadership team of Overseers, staff, and key volunteers. You are in our hearts as we hold you up before our LORD!
Keep our eyes on Jesus and stay in step with the Spirit!

Please join us in welcoming Rebecca Bomski to the CCO Staff. Rebecca joins us as the new Bookkeeper and has 10 years finance/accounting experience in nonprofit organizations.

Rebecca is married to Troy and has two children: Joseph is 14 and Faith is 7. Rebecca enjoys hiking at High Cliff, watching the EAA Air Show each year, going to country concerts with her husband and spending time with family.

AfterParty! 
Adults 25-40 are invited to join us on July 14th for a Beach and Hiking Party at Hartman Creek State Park. For more information and to sign up check out the CCO Events page at community-church.com/events.

Celebrate Recovery meets Friday evenings from 6-8pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 808 N. Main Street Oshkosh. Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live. CLICK HERE for additional information.

Tuesday, July 16th we will meet not be meeting. Join us for the camping trip July 19-21.

Young Adult Camping Trip
Young Adults (ages 18-28) are invited to join us for a weekend camping trip in Devils Lake July 19th-21st. Cost is $35 per person. Check out the CCO Events page for more information.

Community Kids will be open for Full Programming during the 8:30am service & Nursery - PreK at the 10am service. Community Kids Unlimited (CKU), our special needs children's ministry, will be available at the 8:30am service.

Lifest
CSM hosts a tent at Lifest for students to connect with friends, play games, and grab some snacks. CSM Students! If you are out at Lifest, plan to stop by the tent and hang out with us.

Mark your Calendar for August 10th! CSM Pool Party at the Omro Pool 7-9pm.

Summer Sunday worship services are at 8:30am & 10am.  Join us this Sunday as we kick off a new series, Sidekicks. Sometimes, it’s hard to relate to the heroes of the bible. In our new series “Sidekicks”, we will meet some of the unsung heroes. These are the normal people who still played a part in changing the world. They have stories, just like you or me, with some extraordinary results.

We will be commissioning Pastor Karl as Senior Pastor during the morning services.
