General Announcements
Are you interested in Missions? Join us for a Mission Outreach in Milwaukee. This is a great opportunity to serve and be on mission in our own state. We will be working with Captive Project this Saturday, August 12th. Sign up at community-church.com/outreach.
Hosea's Heart is coming to Community Church Oshkosh! Scars: Up From the Ashes will feature 10 performers from Hosea’s Heart at CCO Oshkosh on Wednesday, August 23rd at 6pm.
We could not be more excited & honored to be bringing this powerful & empowering performance to Oshkosh: a performance that not only raises awareness of the realities of human trafficking and sexual violence worldwide, but also tells the story of hope, healing, forgiveness, and redemption through song, dance, and spoken word. You do not want to miss this breathtaking performance!
Plan to join us Sunday, August 27th for the CCO Church Picnic. We will have one service at 10am with a picnic to follow. Sandwiches, chips, and fruit will be provided. Sunshine Uganda will be hosting a FREE Carnival featuring bounce houses, face painting, games and prizes. Donations are encouraged to support their upcoming mission trip this fall. Hosea's Heart will be hosting Carnival Treats, all donations will support their school.
Cherith International Benefit Concert “A Touch From Jesus” featuring Dan Sanchez, a midwest known tribute signer. All are welcome Friday, August 18 at 7:00pm at Calvary SonRise Church Oshkosh. CLICK HERE for more information.

Groups
AfterParty! Join us for a camping trip at Nordic Pines Campground August 11-13, 2023. The cost is $80/person. Please sign up at community-church.com/afterparty by August 8th. Adults 25-40 are invited to join us.

Young Adults are invited to join us Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm. We will be meeting in the CCO Cafe. CLICK HERE for more information.
Missions
This month we are highlighting the ministry of Jaci Grooters. Jaci serves with Commission to Every Nation. She serves 437 Missionary Kids, helping them navigate the challenges they will face on the mission field. CLICK HERE to hear more on her ministry.
Community Kids
This Sunday Community Kids will be open at the 8:30am service for nursery - 5th grade & Community Kids Unlimited. At 10am Community Kids will be open for nursery -preK only.
Children entering 1st grade in the fall of 2023 are invited to participate in Community Kid's Bible Buddies program. Bible Buddies consists of a mentor from CCO's congregation who sponsors the cost of a new hardcover NIrV Bible for your child. This mentor is also responsible for sending your child postcards once a month for a period of 12 months. This postcard is meant to encourage, equip, and inspire your child to dive deeper into their Bible readings while at home and at church. Sign up at community-church.com/biblebuddies.
