General Announcements

Join us in celebration of the Savior's birth. Christmas Eve services will be at 1pm | 3pm | 5pm. Online services will be available for the 1 & 3pm services at community-church.com/live. Nursery will be available at the 1 & 3pm Christmas Eve services for children 2 & under.
There will be no Sunday morning services on Christmas Eve day.

Perspectives Class is being offered at Community Church Fond du Lac beginning January 9, 2024. This 15 week class meets every Tuesday 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Perspectives is a study program rooted in Scripture, clarifying each believer’s remarkable opportunity to join God in His global purpose.  Registration is available online at Perspectives.org (discounted registration is available).

Did you lose something? We may have found it. Please stop by the lost & found in the hallway by the bathrooms. Anything not claimed will be donated on December 15th.

Are you interested in having your child dedicated? Child Dedication is a ceremony that dedicates a child to God and welcomes them into the church. Parents also dedicate themselves to raising the child in a Godly home. If you are interested in having your child dedicated, please join Pastor Tommy at the Child Dedication class on January 14th at 10am.

We are looking for volunteers to help with Security on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in volunteering in this area, join us on January 14th at 10am in the Board Room.

Groups

Celebrate Recovery meets Friday evenings from 6-8pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 808 N. Main Street Oshkosh. Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live. CLICK HERE for additional information.

Missions

This month we are highlighting the ministry of Luis & Elizabeth Pomares. Luis & Elizabeth serve with Cru in México . Their focus is reaching students with the Gospel, helping them to grow in their faith, and sending them out to reach others with the Gospel. Check out more about their ministry at community-church.com/missionary.

Young Adult

Young Adults Ministry meets on Tuesday evenings for adults age 18-28. CLICK HERE for more information.

Community Kids

Community Kids will be open for Nursery through 5th grade during the 8:30am & 11am services. Community Kids Unlimited will be available at the 8:30am service.

December 17 - Community Kids Choir Leads Worship
December 24 - No Morning Services or Foundations. Christmas Eve Services at 1 |3 | 5pm.
December 31 - No Foundations

Play & Praise is January 8th. Join us for story time, worship, crafts, snacks, and fellowship. Kiddos age 5 and under and their caregivers are invited to join us each month. CLICK HERE for more information.

Mark your calendar for August 5-9, 2024 to join us for VBS next summer! It's our favorite week of the year.

CSM

Snow Duels CSM Winter Retreat for Middle School and High School students is February 9-11th at Silver Birch Ranch Camp. Get ready for your relationship with God to grow deeper through a weekend of fun, fellowship, inspiration, and lots of snow! The cost is $150. Register by January 11th to receive a $10 discount. Middle School Students! 
There are still spots available to join us on a Mission Trip this Summer. We are planning to serve the city of Minneapolis while partnering with a local church in the area. We will have opportunities to serve the homeless, kids in the community, and any of the needs of the local church. Sunday, December 17, 2023

Sunday worship services are at 8:30am & 11am.  Join us as we continue in our series, Comfort & Joy. We will be looking at James 1:2-4, The Uncomfortable Journey to Joy. Community Kids Choir will be leading worship during the morning services.

Foundations is at 10am with classes for all ages, nursery - adult. Community Kids will be open for Nursery through 5th grade during the 8:30am & 11am services.

CCO Merch will be for sale in the lobby this Sunday. Stop by and purchase some last minute Christmas gifts.

The cafe will be open and serving Breakfast Sandwiches & Soup this Sunday. There will also be a Bake Sale. Stop in and pick up some treats for your Christmas gatherings. All donations from the cafe and bake sale will support Hosea's Heart.

Foundations is at 10am with classes for all ages, nursery - adult. For the semester of classes offered, go to community-church.com/foundations.

Lori Jacobson is teaching a class on the Foundation of Church Life.

CSM - High School (Grades 8th - 12th)
Join us as we encounter God's word together. We will be meeting in the office lounge.

Life in Babylon – Human Dignity (Worship Center)
What makes humans so unique out of all other creation?  When does human life begin?  When does it end?  Join us as we seek to think Christianly about things like abortion, physician’s assisted suicide, and the unique dignity that all human beings hold.

Legacy Planning with Alan Cleveland (Room 1)
Unless Jesus returns first, we will all die.  We are dust and to dust we shall return.  How are we to plan for the end of our lives?  Why is it important to have a will?  What does Legacy Giving look like?  How do you plan a funeral?  Join us for this class as we discuss these sorts of questions!
