GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Bless a Family is a ministry of Community Church. Many families and/or individuals experience challenges during the Christmas season. Those challenges may be physical, financial or emotional. Bless a Family wants to encourage these families/individuals and love on them as we are commanded to do.
Do you know of a family/individual that could use encouragement this Christmas Season? If you would like to submit a nomination, please fill out THE FORM HERE by November 4th.
CCO is hosting a One Day Marriage Conference "Vertical Marriage" on Saturday, November 9, 2024 (8:30am - 4:30pm).
For anyone who is married, preparing for marriage, or desperate to save a relationship teetering on the brink of divorce, Vertical Marriage will give you the insight, application, and inspiration to transform your marriage into everything you hoped it would be.

The Facilities Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the building and grounds of the church. This is a full-time position that supports the Facilities Manager in ensuring the proper maintenance and care of the building for the use of the church body.
As you know, the aftermath of the recent hurricanes has left a devastating impact on the Southeast region of our country. Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters who are currently in distress. Please prayerfully consider supporting those in need through prayer and financial support. You can learn more about how you can contribute by CLICKING HERE.
Valley Christian School is celebrating their 50th anniversary on Saturday, October 26, 2024. We would love to include anyone who would like to attend. There is an alumni brunch from 9-11 AM that morning so any alumni from VCS are welcome to come with their families. In the evening, we will be having a dinner and program at the convention center in downtown Oshkosh. Doors open at 5:00 PM with dinner being served at 6:00 PM. The cost for the evening event is $30 per person. If you are interested in attending either one, please contact Carey Holtz at 920-292-1273 or choltz@vcoshkosh.com. Please RSVP by October 18, 2024.

We want to be a church that continues to serve and be on mission. 92g0 provides opportunities to continue to live on mission on our area. Our area code is 920, let's go out and reach the people in our area by serving them. You will find opportunities listed on the CCO Events page, select 92g0.
Join us to serve at the Day by Day Warming Shelter by providing and serving a meal. Sign up HERE for the date you wish to serve and let us know what items you will be bringing for the meal.
We are collecting coats for those in need. Please bring ALL SIZE CLEAN COATS: Infant to XXL sizes, new & gently used. We will have a donation box in the lobby.

YOUNG ADULTS
Young Adults are invited to join us 1st & 3rd Tuesday from 6-8pm for Bible Study. We also have activities and events planned throughout the month. CLICK HERE for more information. Young Adult Ministry is for adults age 18-28.
MISSIONS
During the month of October, we are highlighting the ministry of Jane Fischer. Jane serves with Converge in Japan. She teaches 8th grade students at the Christian Academy in Japan, an international school. Check out more about their ministry HERE.
Perspectives Class is being offered at Community Church Oshkosh beginning January 6- April 21, 2025. Perspectives is a study program rooted in Scripture, clarifying each believer’s remarkable opportunity to join God in His global purpose. Learn more HERE.

COMMUNITY KIDS
Community Kids will be open for Full Programming for children nursery - 5th grade during the 8:30am & 10am services. Community Kids Unlimited (CKU), our special needs children's ministry, will be available at the 8:30am service.
Community Kids Choir will be practicing during the 8:30 & 10am services this Sunday. Practice takes place during our large group time. Students will then head back to their classrooms for regularly scheduled Sunday school lessons.
Community Kids Fall Fest on Sunday, October 20th from 2pm-4pm. Fall fest is family-fun afternoon with trunk or treating, face painting, balloon animals, bouncy houses, games and activities for the whole family to enjoy. CLICK HERE for more information.
Would your preschooler like to be a part of the Community Kids Preschool Christmas Musical on December 14th? Check out the information on rehearsal dates and sign up on the CCO Events page by November 2nd.

Join us as we explore the history of the Bible, the challenges of translating the Bible from one language to another, and why this book is so important.
