General Announcements

FOCUS 2020 - Sunday, January 26th at 3pm. Join us for a night to focus on the year ahead. We will discuss our budget, our emphasis for this year, as well as hear year end updates from many of our ministry leaders. We will also be offering seminars to help Each 1 Reach 1. Child Care will be provided. Please sign up here so we can plan accordingly.  

Planning for the future is hard when you’re still paying for the past! Listen—there’s a better way! The annual Heritage Gala is approaching on February 14th. Each year this event benefits the mission trips and projects of Community Church. This years dinner will be benefitting the mission trip to Poland and also our CSM Ministry. We are looking for Gala Sponsors to help defray the cost of dinner.  Click here for additional information. Brendan Brooks, a Wisconsin native will be joining us THIS Sunday, January 19th at 6pm. Brendan loves Jesus. He is determined and self taught musician. He has opened for Toby Mac, Sidewalk Prophets, Citizen Way as well as other Christian bands. Join us at 6pm for this Free Event as Brendan shares his story and music.

Do you like to garden? Consider joining the Community Garden Facilitator Committee. This committee meets once a month, February through November to coordinate and encourage growth in the community garden. For more information please contact Adam Sattler at sattler17@gmail.com or 920-229-9774.

Have you lost something? We may have found it. Stop by the lost and found down the hallway to the offices. We will be cleaning out and donating anything unclaimed.

Groups

Celebrate Recovery meets on Sunday nights at 6:00.  Come find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hangups and live the life God desires for you to live.

Blended Family Ministry will be meeting bi-weekly starting Sunday, January 19th.  Contact Bonnie & Erv Fischer for more information.

Men's Ministry

Community Church is excited to once again be hosting No Regrets Men's Conference Saturday, February 1st. The theme for this year is “Uncommon” based on Romans 12:2.  Early registration is $30 per person & $35 starting January 20th. Sign up at community-church.com/noregrets.

Women's Ministry

Bible Study - The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel lead by Mary Draeger and Markley Delikowski. Journey along with Lee Strobel on a quest for the truth about Jesus Christ. Do you have a friend or spouse question Jesus as the Son of God? Invite them to join you.

Join us for IF:Oshkosh February 7-8, 2020. At this two day conference we will turn off all the noise, get in the Word, experience powerful teaching, dive into authentic conversations, worship Jesus, and hear stories that will compel you to take your next steps towards life and peace. CSM

Join us at Pizza Ranch Monday, January 20th. CSM is having a fundraiser and we would love to see you.  Stop in between 4-8pm. 

Hero Central

HERO Central is in need of brown paper shopping bags.  If you have any extra to donate, please drop off at the HERO Central desk this Sunday!

Hero Central will be stocking the Little Free Pantry during the month of February. Watch for more information on how you can help!

Missions

Guyana 2020 Mission Trip will take place July 18-25. The first meeting is Tuesday, January 28th @6pm in the Fireside room. It is not too late to join the team! We are looking for people who love to serve and love kiddos! No experience or skills necessary. Just curious about the trip? Come to the meeting and have all your questions answered!

January Mission Spotlight is the Cafe' on Ryf.  The mission of the cafe' is to make an impact locally and globally through meals hosted by different mission / ministry teams. Click here to find out more and how you can support this ministry.

We will be continuing our series Luke: a documentary and focusing on Luke 4:1-30 this Sunday. We are excited to worship with you at 9 & 10:45.

Cafe' on Ryf: Please join us in the cafe this Sunday! We will be serving French Toast Casserole and Italian Beef. We also will have Oatmeal Bake available for a yummy gluten-free option! All donations will support Liz Wruck who will be serving in Poland with Josiah Venture as a summer intern. We look forward to serving you this Sunday!
