News & Notes

Welcome to our “News & Notes” blog!
Here you can find all the latest updates on what’s happening at Community Church.

General Announcements

Now more than ever, children need hope, and a gift-filled shoebox can let them know they're not forgotten. Even in a pandemic year, you can touch lives by packing shoeboxes right in your own home. Pack a Shoebox online at community-church.com/occ. It is FAST & EASY! You can pick each item to include in your box or boxes and check out all online in less than 10 minutes.
If you picked up a shoebox from church, they are due back by November 22nd.

DONATIONS NEEDED! Father Carr's is looking for donations for their Thanksgiving Day drive-thru. They are looking for turkeys, instant mashed potatoes, cans of green beans, cans of fruit and butter. CLICK HERE for more information.

If you have lost something at church, we may have found it! Check out the Lost and Found in the hallway by the offices. We will be donating all remaining items soon.

Community Church Online
We want to make your experience online the best we can. Here are a few helpful tips when viewing online services:
  • The most consistent platform for viewing is on our website at community-church.com/live.
  • The YouTube & Facebook platforms monitor to make sure we have proper licensing of music. Although we have a proper license, the stream may be blocked, muted, or dropped at times for their verification purposes.
  • If you are streaming live, it will take additional bandwidth for your internet to keep up. If you notice a lot of glitching or buffering, pause the live stream for a minute to allow it to catch up.
  • If you have consistent issues with buffering, you may want to view the stream as a replay. The replay will not demand the amount of bandwidth, and you should not experience the delay. You can find previous messages at community-church.com/live. Click the play button and then choose Previous Broadcasts. They can also be found on Facebook and Youtube. However, these platforms may mute, block, or delete portions of the service because of their licensing requirements.
Thanks for your continued patience. If you have any questions or continue to have issues, please contact the church office at (920) 231-7070.
