General Announcements

Reminder that this weekend is Daylight Saving.  Don't forget to set your clocks back 1 hour on Saturday night.

21 Days of Prayer now - November 2nd. community-church.com/21days

A Call to Fast and Pray
Join the Community Church family in a Day of Fasting and Prayer on Monday, November 2nd. This will conclude our 21 Days of Prayer during which we have been interceding for the people around us (and the globe) as well as the challenges of today.
A blogpost from Desiring God provides helpful guidance if you have never fasted before for spiritual purposes, or, if you need a simple reminder of the “why” behind fasting.

Virtual Prayer Time
Join us for a Virtual Prayer Time at 7pm on Community Church Facebook page as we conclude our 21 Days of Prayer.

Operation Christmas Child provides God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. We need your help to PACK A SHOEBOX!
1) If attending in person service, you can pick up boxes beginning this Sunday, November 1st at both sites.
2) Box Pick Up this Sunday, November 1st 12:00-2:00. Pick up an empty shoebox by simply driving to the front of the church building at Ryf Road.  Someone will bring a box or boxes out to your car.
3) Pack a box online at community-church.com/occ. If you are not comfortable shopping in a store for your shoebox supplies, then you can build your box online! No need to pick up a box.

Bless A Family is a ministry of Community Church. Many families and/or individuals experience challenges during the Christmas season. Those challenges may be physical, financial or emotional. Bless A Family wants to encourage these families/individuals and love on them as we are commanded to do.
Do you know of a family/individual that could use encouragement this Christmas Season? If you would like to submit a nomination, please fill out this form by November 8th.

DONATIONS NEEDED! Father Carr's is looking for donations for their Thanksgiving Day drive-thru. They are looking for turkeys, instant mashed potatoes, cans of green beans, cans of fruit and butter. CLICK HERE for more information.
